当前,恶性肿瘤的诊断和治疗系统越来越趋向于更精确和个性化。现有的肿瘤模型仍无法完全满足临床实践的需求。值得注意的是,新兴的器官样平台已被证明在基础转化医学领域具有巨大潜力,有望促进个体化医学的范式转变。在此,鉴于器官样平台的独特优势,我们主要从肿瘤生物学、肿瘤微生物群与宿主的相互作用、临床决策和再生策略的角度,探讨器官样模型在基础研究和临床实践中的显著作用。此外,我们还提出了关于如何构建新一代器官样平台的一些建议,这必将积极推动基础转化医学的改革。版权所有2023,由Elsevier B.V.出版。
Nowadays, the diagnosis and treatment system of malignant tumors has increasingly tended to be more precise and personalized. And the existing tumor models are still unable to fully meet the needs of clinical practice. Notably, the emerging organoid platform has been proven to have huge potential in the field of basic-translational medicine, which is expected to promote a paradigm shift in personalized medicine. Here, given the unique advantages of organoid platform, we mainly explore the prominent role of organoid models in basic research and clinical practice from perspective of tumor biology, tumorigenic microbes-host interaction, clinical decision-making, and regenerative strategy. In addition, we also put forward some practical suggestions on how to construct a new generation of organoid platform, which is destined to vigorously promote the reform of basic-translational medicine.Copyright © 2023.
